    Can AK be done in half a day? If so would you recommend Whispering Canyon restaurant for dinner with 3 girls Ages 6 and 5 ?

    Can you do absolutely everything in half a day at the Animal Kingdom? No. Can you hit some of the highlights? Yes.

    I would say there are some "must dos" for everyone at the Animal Kingdom. The Lion King show, Kilimanjaro Safari and the Finding Nemo show are great for any age. The Kali River Rapids is fun for all (there is a height requirement). Then there are other highlights for different segments of the population. Expedition Everest is incredible, but a five year old girl might not be tall enough for this. The same goes for the Primeval Whirl. So while those would be top attractions for others, they might not be priorities for your group. If you only have half a day to spend at the AK, I would really focus on your top 5 or so attractions and make sure you work those into your plan.

    The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a wonderful choice 5 and 6 year olds. I have three daughters, we've been going to the WCC for years and have a blast every time. The servers here are very interactive with the guests, there are lots of running jokes in the restaurant, hobby horse parades through the dining room, and just general silliness. Truly, fun for the whole family.
