How do I get from airport to all sports hotel

Hi Melinda, and welcome to planDisney. It looks like you’re going to be walking down Main Street, U.S.A., and eating all the Mickey-shaped snacks before you know it! So let’s chat about how to get from the airport to one of the All-Star Resorts, so you’re all set for your vacation.

The most direct way would be to use a ride share service, like Uber or Lyft, or to rent a car. Disney Resort hotel guests get complimentary standard self-parking at both the hotel and the theme parks, so the later could be a good option. Sometimes I’ve done a one-way rental, picking up from the airport and returning it to the Car Care Center at Disney World (from there, you can take their provided transportation to your resort hotel). Sometimes my family does this so we can stop at a grocery store along the way to pick up snacks and breakfast food for our vacation.

If you’re flying into Orlando International Airport, another option is to use the Mears Connect shuttle service. While it’s not run by Disney, they offer transportation between the Orlando airport and Disney resort hotels. Their standard service usually stops at a few resort hotels, so it can be faster to upgrade to their Express Service or to go with one of the other options I mentioned earlier. However, it’s an economical option, especially if there’s only one or two of you.

Before I go, I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss any of the amazing perks you get as a Disney Resort hotel guest! My family’s favorite is Early Theme Park Entry, where Disney Resort guests can enter the theme parks 30 minutes before regular park opening every day. It’s such a great way to get a few attractions in with lower wait times, especially when we want to maximize the morning before taking a midday break!

There are also going to be lots of activities throughout the day at your resort hotel, so be sure to look for the recreation schedule when you get there (it’s typically posted in the lobby or near the pool). I like to take a photo so I have the schedule handy during my stay. One of my family’s must-dos is roasting marshmallows.

I’m wishing you the most magical stay this week! And if you have any other questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
