Ahoy, Tracy! Saw your response about not to use permanent markers for the in-person character autographs. Could we use washable markers? Love the idea of having a canvas or mat board signed but would want the bolder signature from a marker. Thanks!

    Ahoy, Leslie!

Thank you so much for asking me a question! I know that my character friends on Disney Cruise Line ships do not typically sign their autographs using markers. But, I do have a solution for you!

You can bring your canvas or mat board with your favorite markers along on your cruise. You can then visit Guest Services on your first night of your cruise with your items. If you ask them to have the characters sign the canvas using your markers, they definitely will. You can even provide a list of characters that you hope to sign the board. Then, on one of the later evening of your cruise, your canvas will show up back in your stateroom, signed!

This saves you the hassle of carrying it around with you at all times as well. Be sure to mark which side is "up" on your board if it isn't obvious (I only made that mistake once, lol). On my last cruise on the Disney Dream, I brought Mickey mitts to have signed. They turned out fantastic!

The first time we had pillowcases signed as a surprise for our daughters, the girls were thrilled when they arrived in our stateroom. That was nearly five years ago, and the pillowcases still hang on the walls in their rooms.

I hope you have an amazing Disney Cruise Line vacation!

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
