Ahoy, Cruise and Walt Disney World Moms! My grown children will be coming back from their first ever cruise November 3rd. Would it be silly of me to fly in a day early to meet them at the port and spend the day with them before our evening flight home?

    Ahoy, Rochelle!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love that you continue to visit us with all your Disney vacation planning questions.

I know you are excited for your children to experience their first Disney Cruise this fall and will look forward to hEARing every magical detail when they return. There are several options for you and your children to experience around the port if you want to join them for their last day of vacation. You could check out the Kennedy Space Center, spend the day at Cocoa Beach or even head to Disney Springs for a little more Disney magic before your evening flight. All Guests are asked to be off the ship by 9:15 a.m. so you should have plenty of time for whatever activity you choose to do.

A rental car is probably your best mode of transportation for your visit to the Orlando area, Rochelle. After your children claim their luggage, they will be able to meet your curbside. I'm sure they will be very excited to "sea" you and will share all the fun stories of their time at sea.

Thank you again for reaching out with your question, Rochelle!

    Have a magical day!
