What age is too young to go? Planning a trip next Thanksgiving with a 3 yr old and almost 1 yr old

    Hi Heather!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Your children are at great ages to visit Walt Disney World Resort. My wife and I have taken our four children as infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. They've been able to enjoy the parks at various stages of their lives, and we've had wonderful experiences each time.

Each of the four theme parks of the Walt Disney World Resort offer Slow Rides for Guests of all ages to enjoy. Most of these attractions should be fine for your 1- and 3-year-old. Cast Members at the ride entrances can answer any specific questions you have before boarding. Our youngest daughter was only 5-months-old during our visit last year, and we took her on several of the attractions.

For more advice, visit the Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page on DisneyWorld.com. Here you can discover tips and special offers designed for families with little ones. There is also a "Preschool Parent's Guide to Walt Disney World Resort" that you can download.

Please feel free to send me any follow-up questions that you may have. I enjoy helping families plan their magical vacations with little ones.

    Have a magical day!
