Hiya Heather! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for visiting us with your question, and how exciting that you've got a magical countdown in the works for next year. There's just nothing better! In my opinion. And I know that I'm right.
I think you'll be happy to hear that 18 is the minimum age to register as the primary guest and check-in at a
Disney World Resort. I've looked into this previously for my teenaged daughter, who is excited to get her Disney Adult life started and had an eye on her first "friends trip" at
All-Star Music Resort. Which is, by the way...an excellent, whimsical choice with terrific theming and an awesome food court.
There are so many pixie-dusted
perks of staying at a Disney Resort, and I love that they have an excellent range of themes and offerings in Value, Moderate, and Deluxe price categories to meet a variety of budgets. On of my family's absolute favorites is the Moderate category
Disney's Caribbean Beach. This beautiful resort has a fun pirate-fort themed pool, gorgeous tropical landscaping and vibes, and the convenience of being on the
Disney Skyliner route. If you're looking for recommendations... I think it's practically perfect in every way!
Heather, I hope this helps and gives you some ideas to your magical stay at Disney World. Please
visit me again at planDisney if I can answer any other questions. I love helping people plan for making happy memories, and will be wishing upon a star for you to have a wonderful time next May!
Adventure is out there!
