    At what age do you pay adult prices for tickets?

    Nicole,

    Thanks for your question!

    When it comes to theme park tickets, Disney groups people into three age groups. They are as follows;
    • Children aged under 3: Free to enter the theme parks, no ticket required
    • Kids ages 3 to 9: These kids will pay the youth price for theme park tickets
    • Everyone else, ages 10 and older: These guests will pay the adult admission price
    So the answer to your question is that you start paying adult prices for theme park tickets when you turn 10 years old.

    One important thing to note about that first group has to do with dining reservations. When making a dining reservation at a buffet or family style service restaurant like Chef Mickey's, if you have a child under 3 in your party you need to include them in your head count. You will not have to pay for them, but the restaurant staff needs them included so they can be sure to secure a table big enough for your party.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
