Welcome Aboard, Peggy!
I bet your granddaughter loves the Disney Princesses and maybe will even have some of her finest princess gowns packed. You will want to head to
Guest Services on the very first day that you arrive and secure tickets for the Princess Gathering. This is held a few times throughout the week, and it is a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet four or more princesses all at the same time. The lovely royals will station themselves in the main atrium of the Fantasy, and you will have to chance to visit and snap photos with each one individually.
There might also be a ticket for an Anna and Elsa meet and greet. You would get these at Guest Services as well. The Frozen sisters are a delight to visit with and it is every little girl's dream to meet them!
Listed on the Daily Navigator will be times when the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab have Open House hours. That means that even though your granddaughter is too young to attend these areas, you could bring your her to play there while you stay with her at these times. You will also want to plan for some splashy fun in
Nemo's Reef. This is a water play area for kids of all ages, but little ones in particular. If your granddaughter is not potty-trained and wears a swim diaper, this will be the only area that she will be able to get wet in. She will not be allowed in the pools with a swim diaper.
Be sure to arrive in the atrium early each evening to meet the wide variety of Disney characters who are cruising on the Disney Fantasy with you. You won't want to miss a photo of your granddaughter with Pirate Minnie!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
