What age is considered an adult on a resort reservation?

Hi Amy!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

For Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservations, any guest age 18 or older is considered an adult.  A nightly fee is charged for each additional adult beyond two adults per room.  I must admit, this was something I didn't think of when traveling with my college-age offspring -- to me they are still my "kids"!

This also means that the minimum age to reserve a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room is 18.

Theme Park Tickets are priced for ages 3 through 9, and ages 10 and up.   Children under the age of 3 do not need admission tickets.  This same age structure applies to the Disney Dining Plan and buffet or family style dining locations.

Amy, if I have not addressed your question, or if you have additional questions, please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again any time.  We are always happy to help.
