    Me again! Thanks for answering my seemingly endless amount of questions. Since we were unable to reserve a cabana for CC I was wondering if it is acceptable to bring one of those portable canopy/tent to give us some relief from the sun while at the beach?

    I love that you are a planner, and your family is going to appreciate all your hard work making your cruise vacation an absolutely magical time!  You will be happy to know that the large beach umbrellas on Castaway Cay provide just the right about of shade you will need.  The chairs located closer to the walkway are also covered by a canopy of palm trees.  There will be plenty of chairs, chaise lounges, and umbrellas all along the Castaway Family Beach.  Many times my crew will walk down to the area close to Pelican Plunge (the waterslide) to find our spot for the day.  This is also located next to Cookie's Too BBQ where you will eat a delicious lunch while on Castaway Cay.
