    Hi again! Thanks for answering my other questions. Only 4 months until my 2 week holiday:) I'm planning to take sandwiches to the park a few days. Where can I sit down for a picnic apart from Tom Sayer island? I hear most grass areas are off limits?

    Maria,

    There really are not a lot of picnic areas in the truest sense of the word in the Magic Kingdom. By that I mean that there are not many spots where you can sit on the grass and eat. But you should stick to your plan to take in some sandwiches. Instead of looking for some grassy areas, here are three places where I would go;

    Liberty Square: Behind the window-service counter at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is an expanse of picnic tables that are both out in the sun, as well as in a very nicely covered area.

    Main Street, U.S.A.: Outside of Casey's there are some tables where you can eat. They get crowded quickly, mostly from the Casey's crowd and those waiting for their reservation at Crystal Palace, but it will do for your needs.

    Tomorrowland: Not the most scenic area, but there are outdoor tables around the Astro Orbiter ride, where you could set up for your lunch.

    Really anywhere else you might feel like you were in the flow of pedestrian traffic too much. The first is really a favorite of mine, and I think you will find it a nice place to go as well!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
