Hi again, thanks for all of the advice. If you are lucky enough to get free dining and you're staying at a value resort, can you buy an upgrade to get Disney Dining instead of the Quick Service Plan?

Hi, Charlene! Lots of good questions coming in about the possibility of free Disney dining plans! I certainly have my fingers crossed for all of you that this discount does become available again this year. Keep an eye on the Special Offers page so you can take advantage of this delicious offer if it is announced.

When the Free Disney Dining offer has been announced in the past years, Guests staying in the Value Resorts usually are provided the Quick-Service Dining Plan, while those staying in Moderate, Deluxe, or Deluxe Villa accommodations have had access to the regular Disney Dining Plan. Guests have previously had the option to upgrade their provided dining plan, with the Guests just paying the difference in price between their provided plan and the desired plan. Pricing for the dining plans does frequently change, but with current pricing, you would pay an extra $18.05 per adult per night of stay and $3.20 per child to upgrade from the Quick-Service Dining Plan to the Disney Dining Plan.

I hope you have a magical day, Charlene. Please stop by again if you have any further questions.
