    Hi again! We’re staying at Pop Century soon, and I was wondering if the bridge connecting to the Art of Animation resort is open during construction of the gondola skyliner? We’d love to walk over to eat or shop. Thanks!

    Hi Diana!

    Disney's Pop Century Resort is such a fun place to stay when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!  There are so many incredibly themed areas, and each time I visit, I see something new!  When we have stayed there in the past, we have really enjoyed being able to walk over to Disney's Art of Animation Resort to explore all of the magical theming throughout the resort, and even enjoy the variety of delicious food available at Landscape of Flavors!  Plus, since each resort shop is unique, you never know where you might find the perfect souvenir, or if you are like me, souvenirs!  I actually purchased one of my favorite sweatshirts at the Everything POP Shopping & Dining area a few years back!  

    I spoke with a Cast Member who informed me that luckily, the bridge between the two resorts should remain open for the majority of the construction of the Disney Skyliner Transportation System.  If for any reason it is necessary to temporarily close the bridge, there will be a path available so that guests can still travel by foot between the two resorts!  Either way, you will get to explore both resorts and immerse yourself in the storytelling magic!
