Hello again! My ?, 2 seperate families (8 total) going to DW, 2 seperate dp's. Want to eat together, will we automatically be charged 18% gratutity even though not on same dp? What is easiest way to book our ADR's together? Thanks for all your help.

    Hi Casey!

Nice to hear from you again! Hope your planning is going well and you're getting excited! Its never too early to get excited!

Although there may be some variance among restaurants, the answer is yes - the automatic gratuity will add to all parties of 6 or more, even if you are paying/using dining credits separately. If you'd like to split the gratuity, just ask your server to divide it between the two bills. You should have no trouble at all with this.

As for booking reservations, my best advice would be to try and book tables for the full party of 8 under one reservation. If you have any trouble with booking tables for a larger party, I'd suggest trying some less-popular dining times. Our family actually enjoys a late afternoon lunch, rather than dinner - we enjoy the air conditioned time out of the heat and rejuvenate for a fun evening!

Many times, you may be advised that larger parties may be seated at two tables. I've been advised of this many times when making my advance dining reservations, but have always been seated together at the restaurant. I make sure to let the host/hostess know that I have a larger party and am willing to wait in order to get a table that will accommodate us all.

Hope this helps! Don't hesitate to let me know if I can help out again!
