Hello again! Another question - sailing 12/24 from Galv. Should I bring water shoes for the family? Not sure which one, but looking at a dolphin adven. in Cozumel as well as on board pools and didn't know if we needed them. Thanks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!

When cruising, we tend to spend most of each day in swimsuits. Bringing water shoes for the family is never a bad idea. Our girls prefer to walk around in their flip flops while onboard, but once we get into the ocean, they want something a little more substantial on their feet. You never know what is under that sand, right?

I'm not positive that you will be allowed to wear water shoes at your Port Adventure in Cozumel, but bringing them couldn't hurt. I would plan to NOT be able to wear them, and then treat it as a happy surprise if they allow you to wear them.

Be sure to bring a lightweight beach bag (possibly mesh) to put those sandy wet shoes into as well. You will also want a bag to carry your towels in. When departing the ship on a Port Adventure, you are able to get towels for your family to use while in port. Be sure to bring them back to the ship with you! There will be a "cage" to put them in as you re-board the ship.
