Hello again just another ques. Hope you don't mind. I love trying new foods and desserts just wondering what anyone may recommend that myself and DH must try ? Thanks again for everything ya'll have been a big big help.

    Hi Candice,

We love the questions, keep them coming! Disney World is an amazing place to try new foods as there is such a wide variety of restaurants, with their own unique specialities to try.

The first place that comes to mind is Boma or Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Both locations offer a number of authentic African dishes that are mouth-watering. Boma is a buffet while Jiko will offer a slower more romantic flair to the evening and offers a wonderful wine selection. The filetĀ at Jiko is one of the best I have ever had.

The restaurants at Epcot's World Showcase are great places for those looking to try new things. Each country offers a dining location unique to their country. One of our favorites is Teppan Edo at Japan. The chefs will prepare your meal on the tableside grill, featuring a selection of meats and vegetables. The scallops here are incredible.

The Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios is themed to old Hollywood and is home to the original Cobb salad. The thing you should not miss here is the Grapefruit Cake. It is delicious! Speaking of desserts, my favorite in all of Disney, is found at Epcot's Coral Reef. The restaraunt offers a number of fresh fish selections as well as steak and chicken. The lobster bisque is creamy and rich but be sure to save room for dessert. If you have not tried it yet, be sure to order the Chocolate Wave. This warm chocolate cake is filled with a Grand Marnier sauce and is divine.

This is just a small sampling of some of our absolute favorites. Hopefully you will find these as scrumptious as we do. Bon Appetit!
