Hi again! I have planned a surprise horse-drawn carriage ride at Ft. Wildnerss on our first day. We do not have park tickets for this day. Will we be able to take a bus from All-Star Music to MK and a boat to FW or is the boat launch inside the park at MK?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brittney! I’m so happy to see that you’ve planned some magical surprises for your visit this September. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is my favorite place to explore! Thanks for sending us your question.

You can absolutely take bus transportation to Magic Kingdom Park, then use the boat launch with service to the Fort Wilderness property. As soon as you get off of the bus, head over to the boat area right across from the entrance of the park and you will notice there are three different resort launches. Follow the signs to the entrance for the boat that will take you to Fort Wilderness. Before you know it, you’ll be having a rootin’ tootin’ good time at the frontier themed resort!

Remember that even though you're not staying at the property, you can still make dining reservations at the restaurants on site. Trail’s End Restaurant is a great place for fried chicken!

Brittney, if you’re planning to stay all day, you won’t want to miss Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long. The Electrical Water Pageant- Magic Kingdom Park is also a fun show. You can see the floats and twinkling lights right at the marina beginning at 9:45 p.m. every night!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to figure out the details of your visit. Please feel free to come back to see us again soon if you have any more questions. Helping you is our pleasure!
