Hello again, Mom's Panel! The family and I are sailing on the Wonder on 12/24/15. Since our cruise is short, will there be a formal night? Are there fireworks on the Wonder? Thanks for your answer! Can't wait for December!!

    Ahoy, Jennifer!

Thank you for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask a question about your upcoming Very MerryTime Cruise on the Disney Wonder from Galveston.

Since this is a 4-Night cruise, you can expect two nights of cruise casual attire. This simply means that there are no tank tops or swimwear allowed in the main dining rooms. You will also have an optional dress up night, where you will find some of your fellow cruisers dressed in formal attire, and others in cruise casual. The beauty of it being optional is that you can dress how you want!

You will also have a Pirate Night, which will feature the Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party, complete with fireworks. Your family can wear their pirate-y best outfits. This is usually my favorite night on any Disney Cruise Line vacation. I will recommend heading up to Deck 10, Starboard (right) side of the ship for the best fireworks viewing.

Because  this is a Very Merrytime Cruise, you can also look forward to seeing Santa Claus, special holiday crafts, and much more Christmas-themed fun! One of my favorite cruises was over New Year's because of all the amazing holiday decorations that were up.

I hope you have a Holly Jolly time sailing on the Disney Wonder! Please come back and visit us again with more questions before you set sail.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
