    Hello again! In order to customize my Magic Bands on My Disney Experience, what needs to be purchased online? Park tickets or hotel reservations or even both? How many days prior to my stay am I allowed to customize and edit my selections?

    Hello Brittany!  I am so excited you are planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, your trip will be truly magical!  Planning is half the fun, don't you think?

    Magic Bands are exclusively being used by guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. In order to customize a MagicBand  you would need to have a Disney Resort Hotel reservation booked.   A travel agent can book, or you can do it online through the Walt Disney World website.    I just recently booked a stay for later this year through a travel agent, she provided me with my hotel confirmation number and I added it to the My Disney Experience Site.   After it was added, I was able to select my MagicBand customizations for my trip.  The website says it wants me to have my customizations for my MagicBands  completed thirty days before my arrival.  But I have been told they will still ship a custom MagicBand to your home if you have your selections made 10 days prior to arrival.   Please note that this system is still in testing and policies and procedures could change at any time.   I suggest having a look at the MagicBands and Cards Frequently Asked Question Page, this may help answer any additional questions you may have about this new technology.
