    Hi again! OK, so I'm almost ready to book my "girl's vacation" w/ my 3 y.o.. Now thinking of end of Apr-eary May. How is Sugar Loaf club level vs. Royal Palm? Thinking of saving $ by staying in outer bldg. What do you think? Thanks again!

    Hi Amy! I thought of you when Disney released discounts for 2011 earlier this week; I remembered you were hoping some special offers would come out for your Spring trip!

    I am actually at Walt Disney World right now with a few other members of the Moms Panel filming videos, and coincidentally one of the videos is about staying club level at the Grand Floridian. Disney Dads Chris and Bernie helped me with some on-the-scene research of your question!  I confirmed that the food and drink offerings and trip planning assistance are the same at the Royal Palm Club and Sugar Loaf. The only difference between the two clubs is the location. The Royal Palm Club is in the main building, which gives you easy access to the monorail, the shops, and the nightly music in the lobby, as well as wonderful views. The Sugar Loaf club is in a separate building a little farther from the action, which is why it is priced less. If location or view is really important to you, paying extra for the Royal Palm Club might be worthwhile; otherwise, choose Sugar Loaf.
