Hi again! I noticed on Personal Navigators 1st day is "Meet the Counselors" at the kids club at 8:30. We have 2nd seating for dinner. Should the kids go to the club or dine with us 1st nite? Not sure since it's our 1st cruise. Please help! Thank

    Ahoy Gina!
It is wonderful to hear from you again!  It is a good idea for your kiddos to spend some time in the Oceaneer Club and Lab on the first night of your cruise.  But, with that being said, I don't think being at "Meet the Counselors" will make or break your children's week in the youth programming.   My advice is to visit the Oceaneer Club and Lab during the day for their Open House hours so your family can become familiar with the space and the wonderful youth counselors.  Ice breaker activities usually begin around 6:30 so they can spend some time before dinner making some new friends and interacting with the counselors.  If they decide they do want to stay, you can feed them via Room Service or by heading up to Deck 11 to Flo's Cafe, the quick service options.
I also suggest letting your children participate in the "Dine & Play" option offered to second seating Guests. When you sit down for dinner just let your servers know your children will be heading to the youth spaces when the counselors arrive around 9:15, and they will expedite their meals.  This will allow you to enjoy each course without feeling rushed since the kids will be off having a great time in the club and lab!
I hope this helps, Gina!  Thanks again for continuing to use the Moms Panel for all your cruise plans!
Have a magical day, and please write back if I can assist you further!
