It's so good to see you again, Michael! You're among fellow planners here at planDisney, so let's put our heads together to talk about the Lightning Lane Premier Pass during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit. Talk about rolling out the red carpet! This pass is like pure pixie dust.
As you know,
Lightning Lane Premier Passes allow guests to ride all of the attractions with Lightning Lane entrances once per day at their selected theme park. You can
see the full list of what's included to help you make the best decision, and remember that there's no need to schedule return times with this pass.
Here in the US, we're in the midst of Spring Break season, so the theme parks tend to get busier than usual. Because of that, I doubt Premier Passes will be available on the same day.
I don't know which day you're headed to EPCOT, but I just checked availability in my mobile app, and there are no Premier Passes available on your arrival day. As of now, you can purchase Premier Passes for the following few days, but that could change.
If you're leaning toward the convenience Premier Passes would offer your group, my best advice is to snag them now. I fear they won't be available for purchase by the time you arrive. But I do have some alternatives.
Lightning Lane Multi Passes for EPCOT start at a lower price point, but I'd recommend purchasing them as soon as possible. Time slots for many popular attractions often fill up. As for my husband's favorite EPCOT ride, I see some availability for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Lightning Lane Single Passes later next week.
You can also take advantage of single rider lines at attractions like Test Track and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. My husband and I enjoy doing this because the wait time is typically much shorter than the standby queue, and we get to hang out and chat while we wait. We're usually in separate ride vehicles, but once most rides start, I'm too excited to care who I'm sitting by!
You're also visiting during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and some amazing activities are included with your theme park ticket. The
Garden Rocks Concert Series is always a grand time, and I could hang out in Butterfly Landing all day! So even if you aren't riding every attraction, I think your EPCOT day will be a blooming success.
