Ahoy, Lisa!
It is WONDERful to hear from you again! I just returned from a voyage on the newly re-imagined
Disney Wonder, and I'm so excited for you to experience this ship when it heads back to Galveston in November!
It was an amazing vacation with many highlights my family enjoyed including dining with Tiana in her new New Orleans' themed venue,
Tiana's Place and seeing the story of Anna, Elsa and the friendliest snowman ever, Olaf told live by the talented Disney Wonder singers and dancers in the Walt Disney Theatre! You'll be blown away by
Frozen, A Musical Spectacular, Lisa! I definitely recommend a seat close to the stage for this one!
As someone who is cold the majority of the time, I often like to have an extra blanket when I travel. There is a blanket that will be folded at the end of your bed that you can use when in your room. It's a medium sized blanket, but I wouldn't describe it as super warm. There are also dark blue fleece blankets available on the Disney Wonder. I've seen them on deck for cooler days, but I'm sure you can request a few for your room, as they aren't that large. Since they are fleece they are rather warm. Just let your stateroom host know you need some extra blankets and he or she will be happy to provide you with some. A great spot to cuddle up with your blanket is Deck Four! There are some comfortable wooden loungers there perfect for soaking in the views and reading a good book!
Lisa, thank you for continuing to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's a pleasure helping you get ready for your first magical sailing this November! We look forward to hearing from you again.
Have a WONDERful day!
Nancy
