Hi again Jodie H! I appreciate your response! One last question. We have base tickets and plan on being at MK the day of my daughters birthday. If we leave to go to dinner at one of the character dinings at a resort can we return to the MK after dinner??

It's great to hEAR from you again, Samantha!  It truly is a pleasure answering all of your Walt Disney World Vacation planning questions!  I think a visit to Magic Kingdom Park is an excellent choice for your daughter's birthday!  Be sure to stop by Guest Relations when entering the park to pick up the birthday girl a complimentary birthday celebration button. Your daughter will love all the birthday wishes she will receive by cast members and other guests throughout the day. I am happy to tell you that you will be able to leave Magic Kingdom Park for your Character Dining Experience and return to Magic Kingdom Park after dinner with your Magic Your Way Ticket. Make sure to keep your Magic Your Way Ticket with you for re-entry. I hope this helps! If you have any additional questions as your planning progresses, please don't hesitate to write me back. Please tell your little princess "Happy Birthday" from all of us at the Moms Panel, Samantha!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
