Hi again Jo. Yup, 57 days to go! Sorry, I wasn't clear before. I understand about the dining, but was wondering if the same applied to checking into the hotel online - i.e. will the online check in system recognise the uk ressie and phone number? Thnx.

Whoops sorry Immy, I just went and reread your question and it was about online check in, I saw the dining bit and got carried away talking about that, sorry!

I'm afraid it's the same answer though, UK reservation numbers can't be used to do online check in. I'm not sure if this will work but it's worth a try, call the US dining number on 001-407-939-3463 and ask for your US reservation number. They should be able to find this using your surname and the resort you're staying in. Then ask for them to make a note of your telephone number, make sure you give them a 10 digit one, I suggest you leave off the first 0. Then when it's time to do the online check in try it, it may not work as I said before but you never know :-)

If it doesn't work don't worry as you can still use the regular check in process, in all the trips I've made to WDW the queue to check in hasn't been very long, 5 minutes max, so it will be quick and simple. The benefit of doing the regular check in is that if you don't like the location of your room you can ask if they have anything else!

Have a great holiday and let me know if I can help again,

    Jo
