    Hi again Jo! 10weeks to go & counting! Please can you give us an idea what the weather will be like 26/9/09-9/10/09. Everywhere i look rainfall is measured in mm. Does it rain all day long or are they short bursts? Also what is the lovebug situation l

    Hi Emma,

    Good to hear from you again. I think I've mentioned in a previous answer that I'll be in Disney at the same time as you are and it will be my first time visiting at that time of year too, so I'm curious about the weather too. I asked several friends who have been late September and they told me that it can vary hugely. It will still be hot and humid and any rain should be in short bursts rather than all day which makes it bearable so pack a poncho. You're still at risk from hurricanes at that time of year, but after being caught in hurricane Faye last year they really are no worse than our normal autumn wind and rain!!!! You should also go prepared for cooler evenings especially as you get into October. So really what I'm saying is pack for your typical English summer, rain gear, bikini and jumper ;-)

    I also haven't come across the dreaded love bugs yet but have been assured that they don't bite and are just a bit annoying. Apparently the amount varies from resort to resort and they tend to come out more at sunrise and sunset. Their peak ummm mating time is May and September so hopefully by the middle of your trip they will have disappeared. Remember though they are completely harmless and can just be pushed or swatted away!
