Hi again. I'm worried about the comfort of a pack n play. She'll be in that for 6 nights including daily naps. She's 2 and I'm worried about her rolling out of the bunk even with a rail. Is it possible to get more than one bed rail? Won't sleep with me/us

    Hi Dawn,

The Disney resorts do have a limited number of bed rails that can be obtained from their housekeeping department. There is no guarantee on what will be available during your stay but you could request two if they are available. If you are driving, you may want to consider bringing your own rails to be sure you have them. Given the length of the rails, I would imagine you could place two on the bed, but you would need to overlap them.

Here are some other thoughts, if you are still planning on having the crib delivered, why not use the mattress out of the crib, and on the bedroom floor. The space between the end of the bunk bed and the dresser is tight, but you should be able to fit the mattress in that spot and the furniture would act as a rail on either side. Or you could place the crib mattress, or even the top bunk mattress on the floor in between the bunks and bed. Let her sleep on the bottom bunk, but the floor mattress would serve as a cushion in the event she wiggled off. Another thought is to bring a blow up air mattress with you and use that on the floor in the bedroom. The mattresses are actually quite comfortable now days and we have spent many vacations with one of us on a air mattress when bed space is at a minimum.

If none of these seem to be what you are looking for, the last suggestion I can think of is to look into switching Disney resorts. I hate to suggest that, as Fort Wilderness offers so many unique experiences, but Port Orleans Riverside does offer a limited number of rooms with a trundle bed feature. This would be great for your daughter as it is situated low to the floor. Of course in these rooms you would give up the option of having a seperate space for the adults to watch tv or chat after she has gone to bed.

Really hope one of these works for you and your daughter can sleep peacefully!
