Hi again! I'm wondering how the Cubhouse at AKL works. The information on line says that it is open from 4:30-midnight, but at some point do the kids bed down to get some rest? We may be out past 11. :)

    Hi Tina,

The child care centers have a few smaller areas within them: tables for craft time, computers for games, etc.

There is no specific sleep area. However, there is a cozy area near the TV with cushions for lounging. Later in the evening, they'll put on a movie and kids will typically settle down quietly to watch. Some children will fall asleep, while others will just relax and watch the film. My children always LOVED the child care centers, even asking to go when we didn't have evening adult plans. They had a great time, but they were always wide awake when we picked them up.

If you'd like your child to actually go to sleep at his or her regular bed time, then you may want to consider getting a private baby sitter. Disney has a great relationship with Kids Nite Out (kidsniteout.com). They provide sitters that will come to your room with books/crafts and put them to bed so that they're asleep when you return from your adult time. Contact Kids Nite Out directly for rates and booking.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
