hi again !! Im wondering about the birthday button . I know you can get a button if your birthday is within 6 months of your trip to disney .. my question is are the buttons free?and do you just getthem at the desk where you buy your park tickerts ?

Anyone can get a free birthday (or anniversary, or first visit, or just married, etc.) button at WDW. These are available at the theme park guest relations offices and may also be available at the regular park ticket windows or at the check-in desk at your hotel.

Disney does understand that a birthday celebration cannot always exactly coincide with an actual birthdate, so the free buttons are available to anyone. However, the free birthday admission to the parks is only available on your actual birthdate and proof of your birthdate will be required for this benefit.

You should also know that birthday buttons and trading pins are not the same thing. The free buttons are about three inches, circular and flat. The trading pins, which are available for sale throughout the parks and resorts, are smaller and come in a variety of shapes. There are some of these that themed for birthdays and other events, but they are not free.
