Hello again! I'm reserving onboard activities for my upcoming cruise, but I'm not totally sure how the unlimited photo package works. Do I need to purchase one for both staterooms? Also, do I pay right now, or onboard? Thank you for your help!

    Ahoy there, Myrna! Welcome aboard!

Disney Cruise Line does a fantastic job capturing our cruise memories with the onboard photography services. Having the photo package makes it certain you don't miss out on any magical moments, whether on the ship or even on Castaway Cay. If you pre-purchase the package, it will be charged to your onboard account.

The unlimited photo package is meant to be for only one stateroom. Here's where the water gets a little rough. If you are traveling with people in other staterooms, as long as someone from the stateroom with the package is in the photo, that photo will be included as part of the package. Let me try and clear that up. If you buy the unlimited photo package for your stateroom and your friend is in another stateroom, any photo you are in with your friend will be included as part of the package. But if your friend is in a photo without you, it won't be part of the package.

Also, if you have grown kids aged 20 or younger in a second stateroom, that stateroom is also included. If mom and dad are in one stateroom, and kids aged 20 or younger are in a second, the package applies to both.

This works great if you've got relatives in the other stateroom. We've been sailing with the photo package where grandmom and grandpop are in another stateroom, but with our package, we were able to get great family photos of them with the kids and all of us together.

You are now shipshape and ready to sail, Myrna!
