Hi again, I'm planning my Disneymoon in WDW for Sept but I might have to delay until mid Oct. In your opinion, is Oct good in terms of temperature, crowd and rain levels? I could google this but would like an opinion from a Disney holiday expert. Thanks!

Hi, Maria! October is the best time to go to Walt Disney World, in my opinion.  The weather is terrific.  The crowds are manageable.  You can still comfortably do the water parks.  There are often specials like free dining plans offered (watch the Special Offers page closely) .  Above all of  these, it is when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party happens! It is a not-to-be-missed hard ticket (requires a separate admission) event!  The Magic Kingdom is decked out in its Halloween finest - including ghosts on Main Street, U.S.A. Characters sport their costumes, too.  Guests of all ages attend in costume, but it isn't required.  Because the number of Guests is limited, you can ride almost every attraction during the party time frame, especially if you follow my family's lead and skip the Trick-or-treat locations.  HalloWishes is the holiday-themed fireworks presentation that you can only see on party nights.  The Boo-to-You parade is one of my family's favorites. Watch for the Haunted Mansion Cast Members; they are my favorite part.  Check the Halloween Party page to watch for the dates to be released.  In years past, there has been an advance purchase discount for most nights, so take advantage of that if you can. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
