Hello again, I'm so grateful to you ladies for this forum, you guys are the best. I was just wondering if you need a passport to get on and off the ship to enjoy Castaway Cays island? Also do you need a passport for getting on and off in Nassau? Thank you

    Hi Marcey!

Thanks for writing back and for the wonderful compliment!  When you disembark the ship in Nassau, you will need to carry your "Key to the World" card and either your passport or your driver's license.  When you leave the ship each member of your family will scan their "Key to the World" card so the ship knows you have gone ashore.  When you return to the pier, there are security officers that will be checking for photo identification and "Key to the World" cards.  Guests under the age of 18 do not need passports or photo ids to go ashore, only their "Key to the World" cards.  Since Castaway Cay is Disney's own private island, you should only need your "Key to the World" card to disembark the ship.

I know you are getting excited about your upcoming cruise on the Disney Dream!  If you think of anything else, just let me know!

    Have a wonderful day!
