Hi again! What excursions would you recommend for 2 adults traveling with a 10 yr old son on the Fantasy Western Caribbean cruise April 2014? Where can I get more in depth information about each port? Is my son limited to Oceaners club?

    Welcome aboard, Veronica!

There are so many amazing Port Adventures to choose from on the Western Caribbean itinerary. Take a look at the Caribbean Cruise Ports to get more in depth information on the different Ports of Call.

I highly recommend any of the Port Adventures that stop at the Turtle Farm in Grand Cayman. You'll see that you can get there with the dolphin adventures and also the Boatswain Adventure Marine Park. I loved holding the baby sea turtles, viewing the huge sea turtles, exploring the rest of the park, and of course, there is snorkeling there among some amazing sea creatures!

My family loves the stingray adventures in Grand Cayman. I've done this twice and my kids have really enjoyed seeing these huge stingrays swim by their feet, getting to pet them and take some great photos! They really are beautiful, and you will be amazed at how gentle they are.

In Cozumel, the Ruins and Beach Tour or the Cozumel Beach Break are both fantastic! Our tour guide was wonderful, teaching us so much on our tour around the entire island of Cozumel, touring the ruins and learning so much about the history of the area, and then heading out to Playa Mia beach on the Ruins and Beach Tour. The Cozumel Beach Break takes guests to Playa Mia beach as well. It's a great atmosphere with so much to offer in the way of water activities, or you might prefer to just relax in the sun. Great food and drinks there too!

Your 10 year old son can enjoy the Oceaneer's Lab and Club, and usually with signed parental permission, a 10 year old may be permitted to try out the Edge tween club as well. Just chat with the counselors at Edge for more details when you board.

Have fun as you plan this exciting adventure on Disney Cruise Line, Veronica! I'm happy to help with other questions you might have!
