Hi again! Are there enough hangers in the stateroom closet for 8-nights cruise? How about child-size hangers? If we use on-board laundry service, can we get back our clothes next day? Trying to pack as little as possible. Thank you!!!

Welcome back, Annie! We have always found that there are enough hangers for our family when we have traveled on all of Disney's four ships. Keep in mind, there are also lots of drawers for clothing, and some staterooms on the Disney Magic and Wonder also have steamer trunks with more storage for clothing. We don't ever hang all of our clothing on the hangers since we have so many drawers, but there are always enough hangers for the nicer outfits and shirts we bring. There are not child-sized hangers.

Though prices are always subject to change, currently, the laundry service offers these prices:
    Shirts: $3.00
    Pants: $3.50
    Socks: $1.00
    Undershirts/Bras: $1.25
    Pajamas: $4.00
    T-shirts: $2.50
    Blouses: $3.50
    Shorts: $2.50
    Sports Shirt: $2.50

For regular laundry service, clothes will be returned by 5:30 p.m. the following day. Same day service is available for an additional 50% surcharge, with clothes returned same day, and express service carries a 100% surcharge, but clothes are returned in three hours. Pressing only is available for half the cost of laundering. Dry cleaning is also available.

You might not know that there are also guest laundry facilities onboard the ships as well, scattered throughout the decks, so one will certainly be just a short walk from your stateroom. We like to bring small sample size packets of Tide and do just one or two loads during the cruise. They do have laundry soap packets available for purchase in the laundry rooms as well, but it costs more than if you brought your own. The laundry machines allow you to swipe your Key to the World card to pay per load, so that's really convenient! Complimentary irons are available there as well. With the laundry service being a bit pricey in my opinion, our family always sticks with doing our own in the guest laundry areas.

Keep your questions coming, Annie! Have a great day!
