Hi again! We are driving to WDW,staying at POP, plan on driving to parks too, been told by several people that even if we park in the lots designated for WDW resort guest, we will still have to take a bus to the parks entrances, is this the case?

    Hi Rachel,

    Great question!

It depends on how early you get to the parks. For Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios, if you are there at the opening, you can easily walk to the entrance. A tram is available as well to ride.

For Downtown Disney, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, you simply walk to the park or to the stores as there is no additional transportation.

As for the Magic Kingdom, you can not walk to the front entrance from the parking lot. You will need to take either the paddleboat or the monorail to the park entrance.

Personally, I would never drive to the Magic Kingdom as it is easier and faster to take the bus. The other parks are a toss up.

Remember as a resort guest, you do not pay for parking!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
