Hi Again! We are on the DIsney Dining Plan and on some days of our hol we cant get any reserv's for dinner at around 6pm ish... does this mean that we will not get to eat anywhere or is there a possibility you can just walk in and get a table? THx

Hi, Elizabeth!  There is always a chance you may be able to get a table if you just walk up to a restaurant, although this will depend on a number of things.  I have found it a bit more difficult with a larger party to walk up and get a table, and in most circumstances, I've had to wait a bit regardless of party size.  Some restaurants are much more difficult to get a table for even in trying to get a reservation, so if I'm looking for something last minute, I always try to avoid the places I know are likely to be the busiest.  Cinderella's Royal Table; Chef Mickey's; and Le Cellier are on my list of last minute places I probably don't have a chance with.

It also helps if you can eat at off peak times.  I know you've said you'd like to eat around six-ish, but if you can be somewhat flexible, it may help.  I find it a little easier to get a table later.

You can also continue to call - including up to the day you'd like to dine.  You may luck into a last minute cancellation!

    Have a great holiday!
