Hi again, Moms! I was debating on Disney World or a 7 night Disney Cruise to the Bahamas next year. If you had to choose (due to price), which would you go with? I've never been on a cruise before but I've heard great things. Thanks!

Welcome back, Angela! My family loves everything Disney has to offer. Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line are all favorites for us. But, if I had to choose just one vacation, I'd choose a Disney Cruise Line voyage for sure. There is really something for everyone and so much is included in the cost of our sailings.

I'm very budget conscious, and while it's not inexpensive to take any Disney vacation, the cruise seems to work out best for our budget. It may seem a bit pricier than the parks at first, but if you then take into account the fact that all the food and drinks (except alcohol and some specialty drinks), our staterooms and our transportation to some really amazing ports of call around the world are included, along with activities day and night, recreation, Broadway-style shows, and so much more are all included, it's the best value by far! We end up spending quite a bit of money on meals when we visit the parks, so we try to eat at more Quick Service restaurants than the Table Service restaurants. But on the cruises, we can choose Quick Service, Table Service, or Room Service, and it's all included! No spending an extra dime on food, but we get the best meals out there!

Plus, Youth Clubs for ages three and up are included, so our kiddos can go explore the clubs and participate in super cool activities like Super Sloppy Science, volcano making, baking, Pluto's Pajama Party, crafts, games and so much more. Meanwhile, my husband and I get to have some time to ourselves to enjoy the adult exclusive areas around the ship, including an adults only pool! Add to that the schedule full of activities for the whole family, and it's like everyone has a vacation tailor-made just for them!
Stop back with other questions as you plan. We're happy to help, Angela!
