    Hi again moms! Changed arriving flight to arrive earlier, will be to MCO 10:55am Hoping to be to WDW by 1:00, we'll have a rental car. Does this sound feasible? Any suggestions on a good lunch spot in DD will be on the DDP. Thanks so much! 35 days to go!

    Lisa,

    It is possible to be there by 1:00 pm, though it will be close. Considering time to get off the plane, rent the car, and drive to Walt Disney World, you are going to be tight, but within the realm of reality.

    A few tips to ensure success;

    • Since it sounds like you plan on using your Dining Plan for lunch, that means you have to check in to your resort to get your room keys that allow for the dining plan to be used. Assuming that is so, you HAVE to do Online Resort Check-In if you really plan to make it. The time savings there will be essential.
    • If you are checking bags through on your flight, that could kill the timing. One way to keep that from being a time waste is to have one adult get the bags while the other rents the car.
    As for lunch places at Downtown Disney, two of my favorites are quick service, but yummy! I like Earl of Sandwich and Cookes of Dublin. For table service, I actually prefer either Paradiso 37 or Raglan Road.

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
