Welcome back, Lisa, and thanks for bringing us another great question! Walt Disney World Resort does provide
ECV Rentals at all of their theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. While this is subject to change at any time, they are currently priced at $50 per day, with a $20 refundable deposit required at the theme parks, and a $100 deposit at the water parks and Disney Springs. You are welcome to use it throughout the day, but it will need to be returned as you leave the park. If you are planning to hop to another location that day, then be sure to keep your receipt with you as will be able to continue the rental at any other spot you visit.
At this time, the daily ECV rental rate cannot be made into a multi-day rental, as the
strollers can currently be done. There are a limited number of ECVs available at each location and I personally have noticed signs up at the rental desk before that they were currently unavailable. If you would rather be assured of having one available throughout your stay, then I highly recommend renting one through one of the Disney Featured Providers. They can drop off the rental with Bell Services at any of the
Disney Resort Hotels and also some nearby hotels. If you go with Buena Vista Scooter Rentals, I know they have had a rental location right on the
Disney BoardWalk.
Some of the ECVs can collapse easily, making a transfer into a car a bit easier, if needed. Speaking from personal experience, they are very easy to maneuver onto the
Disney buses. I broke my ankle three days before leaving for our vacation a couple of summers ago and ended up renting an ECV. I cannot even begin to tell you how easy that one bit of magic made the trip!
Thanks again for bringing your question to us and please let us know if you have any others as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
