Hi again! I've asked this question previously, but I'm still getting conflicting info. Will the Disney resorts transport luggage to SOG for split stays? Does it depend on the resort--deluxe, moderate, value? Thank you!

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

I confirmed this for another guest a few months ago, and I did check directly with Disney that you can have your luggage moved between the Disney resort hotels and Shades of Green. In that case, we were chatting about moving between Shades of Green and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Since the Art of Animation is a value resort, I don't think that the category of Disney resort would matter.

The only important reminder that the Disney Cast Member made a point of telling me was that you should be sure to tell the front desk of your first resort that you plan on doing it later in your stay, so that they can make arrangements. It makes it easier on them if they know about it ahead of time.

Whether you are staying at Shades of Green or the Disney resort first, both options have self-service laundry facilities. That can give you the chance to pack lighter by doing a round of wash before moving between resorts.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
