Hi again! Have always stayed @ BC, thinking of Contemporary for Dec trip? What is it like? Thinking MVMCP 8:15 parade & maybe fireworks,&quick monorail ride to bed. What is the cost? Chance for a bounce back offer when there for girl's trip in

Hi Amy! The Contemporary is a wonderful resort choice, especially in December. I've been to Disney World several times in December, and while the temperatures can sometimes be warm, they can also be downright cold. It's really nice to be able to hop on the monorail without stepping outside of your hotel and, of course, with little ones, being able to roll the stroller on and off the monorail is a great benefit. The holiday decorations at the Contemporary are beautiful -- there is a huge wreath and a fragrant gingerbread tree, and the rooms are really sleek and modern as well as large. The kids will enjoy watching the Electrical Water Pageant from the Contemporary, and it's hard to beat being able to walk to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Even the counter-service Contempo Cafe is modern, and in my family's opinion, it has some of the tastiest quick-service food at Disney.

The dates and ticket prices for the 2011 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party haven't been released yet, but they should be available later this spring. Last year advance ticket prices ran approximately $57 for adults and $51 for children.

It's hard to say whether you'll receive a Bounce Back offer on your spring trip that you can use to book your December trip. I was at Disney World last month, and I didn't see a Bounce Back offer in my resort room. Most of my fellow moms have also been at Disney World within the past couple of months, and none of them have had a Bounce Back offer in their rooms either.  If you don't see one in your room, call the front desk to ask if there are any special deals available if you booked another trip while you're there. If no Bounce Back offers are available, maybe you'll receive an offer via email when you return home. Those email pin code offers seem more prevalent these days.

Come visit me again soon Amy!
