Hi there,
Welcome to planDisney, Jenna. Thanks for dropping by with this question about your upcoming visit. My entire camera roll is Disney pictures too! Selfies, characters, parades, animals, and food. Oh boy there are a lot of food pictures. I try and get to my camera before someone attacks it, but plenty of those photos have one scoop or bite mark missing. There are also a ton of PhotoPass pictures from our visits.
Memory Maker purchased in advance give you the peace of mind that your visit will be covered. These are usually non-refundable purchases, but if you have purchased it with a vacation package with Disney Destinations I would
call for assistance. When it comes to your Memory Maker you purchased with your
Annual Pass, it will start as soon as your Incredi-Pass is activated. If you haven't activated your Annual Pass, and do not intend on it, then your package tickets would default to your dates for your upcoming trip, and so would the advance purchase for Memory Maker.
If you love pictures you might want to hear about the
Capture Your Moment package. This is a 20-minute photo session with a personal PhotoPass Cast Member. You will be able to select from a bunch of locations throughout the parks. The best part of this session is you do not have to purchase the photos. They are actually all downloaded to your My Disney Experience and you can download them on your PC, or on your mobile device using the
My Disney Experience App.
During your visit make sure to ask if there are any Magic Shots or Super Zoom shots available. Magic Shots are special animated characters added to your picture, and Super Zooms are high powered cameras located far away. The Cast Member will tell you where to look and the camera will get you and the entire background in the shot.
I hope this is visit is a magical one, if you have any other questions about planning visit us again at
planDisney.com.
See ya real soon,
Jeremy A.
