I am the advisor of our high school's running club, and we are about to start training for a 10k (possibly a half marathon) race during spring or summer 2018. Does Disney offer any programs or group rates for school groups? My students love to run.

    Hi Virginia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. That is a truly magical idea to bring your running club to Walt Disney World Resort for a runDisney event!

If you would be traveling with a large enough group to book 10 or more hotel rooms, I'd recommend contacting Disney Youth Programs. While most of their packaged offerings are for performing art school groups, they can work with you to create a customized program that would work for you and your running group! You can either fill out their online contact form for information or give them a call at 1-877-WD-YOUTH. If you will be booking less than 10 rooms, you'll want to go through the normal means of booking travel with runDisney at 407-939-iRun. They can help you book reservations for your group, but for a smaller group there would unfortunately not be any discounts provided. I really hope you are able to make this happen because I think it would be a trip of a lifetime for your students!

Please let us know if you have any other questions!
