Hi there, Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
You're actually going to be visiting during one of my very favorite times of the year! Towards the beginning of September, many of the
Fall activities at Walt Disney World Resort begin and bring about the most magical season, Halloween!
Depending on your level of interest,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can be a great way to visit Magic Kingdom and also experience some spooky fun! During this special event, Guests have the opportunity to participate in a fall festival at The Most Magical Place on Earth including trick-or-treating throughout the park. In addition, this event takes place at night so it can be a good way to avoid some of the hottest parts of the day!
The
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will also be beginning during your visit! You will be able to listen to live music during the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series, participate in culinary demonstrations, sample cuisines from around the world, and so much more! If you are not a fan of crowds, I would recommend prioritizing visiting Epcot during the week and avoiding weekend evenings. I love planning an early lunch by sampling different dishes and touring Epcot during the afternoon during the International Food & Wine Festival!
Since there are no special events have been announced for Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios yet, I do not have specific advice for these parks. Generally, these two parks do not follow a specific crowd pattern in my experience.
Hopefully, this information will assist you in traveling around Walt Disney World Resort during your upcoming vacation!
