Any advice on booking reservations at Ft Wilderness during Christmas and New Years? I just tried booking 1 year out and it’s already full. Thanks.

Hi Chad and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question about booking a stay at the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort!

My family and I love to spend time at this resort during the Holidays! Everyone seems to get into the Christmas spirit and it feels more like a community than a resort when you see how different guests decorate their cabins and campsites during the holidays. We try to add a little holiday pixie dust decorating our golf cart when we arrive. Golf carts make for the perfect mode of transportation when you want to get to the marina to board the water transportation to the Magic Kingdom Park or just to drive around and enjoy the resort.

Chad don’t be discouraged. Plans change, and many times cabins and campsites become available for your desired dates. Keep checking the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness site for availability and I bet you will get the dates you’re wanting. You can also call (407) 939-5277 to speak to a Resort Reservation Cast Member to check for availability. I've done this many times for my family visits and have had some good luck.

The last time my family and I visited, the whole family was able to stay. By that I mean that our two dogs enjoyed their first stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! The cabins now offer pet friendly accommodations!

Please feel free to visit us with any other questions that may come up as you’re planning your stay. We’re happy to help you with all of the details!
