Hi Timothy,
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your great question. Planning your first
Disney Cruise Line vacation is so exciting! Every cruise includes top-notch entertainment, delectable dining, amazing service, and, don't forget, Character fun! Concierge-level staterooms add an extra touch of luxury and I'm happy to share some of my favorites with you.
From the moment you book your Concierge reservation, you will have a dedicated team at your service. This team will help
book onboard activities and Port Adventures and will ask about any special requests (such as complimentary soft drinks for your in-room refrigerated cooler) before you set sail. During your vacation, the concierge team continues to assist with activities and make sure you make the most of your time onboard.
Concierge Guests receive extra special attention when they arrive at the port terminal, usually with an exclusive check-in and waiting area and Concierge Guests are the first to board the ship. Once onboard, Guests may make use of the Concierge Lounge and enjoy a special embarkation day lunch (including adult beverages) at one of the
Rotational Dining venues. At the Concierge Lounge, you will be greeted by hosts who are available to review your itinerary and assist you with whatever needs you may have. During your cruise, you can order drinks and enjoy snacks available throughout the day in the lounge. When not enjoying the lounge, you can head out to the private sundeck reserved for Concierge-level staterooms and suites. At the end of your cruise, Concierge Guests are escorted off the ship to make the end of your vacation as special as the beginning (ok, maybe not as special because you do have to go home and start cooking your own meals and cleaning up after yourself!).
Timothy, these are my top perks of a Concierge stateroom and I'm sure you will discover many other reasons if you decide to book one. Let us know if you have other questions as you plan your first Disney Cruise Line vacation; we are happy to help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
