    What is the advantage of purchasing Memory Maker? I have an annual pass. Will be bringing my grandson for his first trip to Disney on October 6. Do I need Memory Maker to download the photos that are taken by WDW photographers?

    Hi Sharon!  Thank you for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Memory Maker is an entitlement that allows the purchaser to download all their Disney PhotoPass photos for one price, rather than paying for each photo individually.  This includes ride and attraction photos and videos, photos from character greeting locations, as well as photos captured by Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

    Since Disney PhotoPass downloads are included as one of the benefits for Disney Platinum, Platinum Plus and Gold Passholders, these Guests will not need to purchase Memory Maker.  So feel free to stop often and smile for the camera!  Be sure to ask your photographer if they have any Magic Shots available.  It is always so fun to see the surprises that appear in my photos!  You can also stop by the Disney PhotoPass studios for additional photos.

    Have a wonderful visit with your grandson!  Stop by Guest Relations or the front desk of your Disney Resort Hotel for a complimentary "First Visit" button.
