What's the advantage of online check in to the resorts?

    Cathy,

Welcome to the Moms Panel from your fellow Missourian.  I don't see a lot of questions from the "Show Me State" so I'm always happy to answer them when I see them.  I'm going to respond to your question based on my personal experience with On Line Check In.  I have not really seen any advantage in doing this prior to arrival.  The Cast Members seem to spend as much time with the online guests as they do with the guests who have not done online.  Sometimes the wait is even longer for the online check in group.  I also have not found that the room is ready any earlier with this check in process.  The only reason I like to do online check in is that it makes me feel that I am just that much closer to starting my trip.  One positive of the online check in is that you can note any room preferences during that process, and prioritize that preference over a "ready" room.  The bottom line is that you can handle your check in either way.  What I do know for sure is that you will have a wonderful vacation.

Thanks for visiting and hope to see you back here with your vacation planning questions.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
