    Hi How do we make advanced reservations with the new cancellation policy charging you if not cancelled a day before? These dining areas did not need a credit card last year. Please explain.

    Hi Dolly,

    The new dining cancellation policy just became effective and I am sure guests have questions about it. Just like you would book an Advance Dining Reservations (ADR) for Cinderella's Royal Table, you will need a credit card to reserve an ADR at certain restaurants.  Should you not cancel your reservation during the cancellation policy, you will be charged the cancellation fee.

    This policy will help restaurants have a more accurate idea of whom will be dining with them for each meal without tables going unfilled. The restaurant under the new policy are ones which are traditionally filled and so walk ups often do not happen because the chance of a cancellation is slim and tables go unused. This lets tables which would normally go unused back into the system which can then be booked by new guests. I highly recommend that if a restaurant you originally wanted was filled, keep trying as tables will now be released.
