We (2 adults, 8 & 6yr old boys) have booked a WDW trip for Apr 13-18, 2012 at the Polynesian. Paid for a MK view rm and req the 1st flr of the Tahiti bldg. Want best MK view, beach/pool access. Would Hawaii bldg be better choice? Isn't this concerige o

Hi Molly!  Disney's Polynesian Resort is one of my absolute favorite Deluxe resorts!  Plus, it hosts my favorite restaurant, 'Ohana!  I had the same room dilemma when planning my vacation to the Poly.  The Hawaii building is Concierge only, and does have the best views of Magic Kingdom. In the Tahiti building, the best Magic Kingdom views happen to be predominantly Lagoon view 3rd floor.  The Tahiti building happens to be close to the beach, but about a 5 minute walk from the pool.  The Tuvalu building has Magic Kingdom views on the third floor as well.  It is about a 3 minute walk to the pool.

A wonderful site which has intricate floor plans and great history of the Polynesian Resort is Tikimanpages.com.

Hope this helps you plan a magical trip!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
